Buzzsprout has hosted podcasts since 2009 and does it well: detailed per-episode statistics, listening sources, geography, automatic submission to the platforms. If you record and edit elsewhere, it is a solid classic.

What it does not do: record, edit, clean up. None of that.

What Podkstr adds before hosting

The remote recording studio, the multitrack editor with ten effects per track, audio cleanup, measured mastering — then RSS hosting and distribution, at the end of the same chain.

What to know before migrating

Buzzsprout bills by annual upload hours. Our quotas are counted in storage and episodes — two different ways of measuring, worth a close look depending on how often you publish. The table below gives both.

Migrating an existing feed is not automated on our side yet. It will be; in the meantime it is better to know before you start.
